An easy to implement weight training plan for women

 
 

Alright ladies, straight talk.

If you want to see more muscle definition, have a more toned physique and see longer-lasting body composition changes you MUST DO RESISTANCE TRAINING.

Resistance training, done properly, activates certain muscle fibers (Type II) that other forms of exercise (like cardio) don’t. (ps. Cardio is great and has lots of health benefits but it won’t give you a more toned physique.)

And don’t worry, doing some resistance training doesn’t mean you will get big, bulky muscles (unless that’s what you want!).

I created this TONE & TIGHTEN plan for women like us. Women who are busy & already have a lot on our plate BUT who want to to either get started with a weight training plan or be more consistent with targeted workouts that will yield specific results.

These workouts are great for…

  • Busy women who want to incorporate weight training into their schedule in a way that is doable and fun.

  • Women who want to do begin a resistance training program but don’t know how to get started.

  • Women who need some simple workouts they can supplement into their current routine or use for bonus days.

  • Busy moms who can’t make it to the gym but want something quick but effective they can do from home.

What do I need?

All you need is a pair of dumbbells (or two, a lighter pair and a med/heavy pair) and a yoga mat. Some workouts also require a chair or step. You can use household things like a dining room chair, ottoman, stair or anything else you have that’s easy to access.

How does it work?

The great thing about this workout plan is that you can incorporate it however you like. I do have it set up in an easy to follow sequence that includes 5 targeted workouts each week (see schedule —>) but you can pick and choose the workouts that you want to do depending on your week.

Where can I do these workoutS?

Any-eeee-where! In your living room, in your kitchen, in your backyard, at the park, at the gym, in your garage, at the office. Do them during nap time or while the kids play or during a break at work or while watch your favorite show. Again, these are meant to be short but effective and easy to fit into your schedule!

What’s the cost?
